FRATERNITY Page 23 STUDENT AID In this section of the Fraternity, we are happy to share with our readers letters we have received from recipients of the Student Aid. We are proud of our Christine A. Gruzewski CHRISTINE A. GRUZEWSKI, Member of Br. 151: “I would like to thank the HRFA for the Student Aid Scholarship. I greatly appreciate this award as it will help towards furthering my education. I would especially like to thank Endre and Arlene Csornán for having recommended me. Presently I am a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. I am working toward a dual major in psychology and sociology with a certificate in women’s studies. I do eventually intend to earn a PhD in the field of psychology. My future career plan is to work in a counseling center to help people who are victims of abuse. Once again, I would like to thank the HRFA for giving me this opportunity to continue my education.” As mentioned above, Christine was recommended by Endre and Arlene Csornán, Arlene being the Manager of Branch 151. gifted young members, and we thank our Branch Managers for their assistance in helping them become aware of this benefit. Joseph B. Ecsi JOSEPH B. ECSI, Member of Br. 62: “I would like to thank the HRFA for the student aid scholarship I recently received. Also, thanks to Mrs. Maria Kovács for my recommendation. I am twenty-two years old and residing in Hammond, Indiana. I am of Hungarian descent, my father having relocated to Indiana from Hungary after the 1956 Hungarian revolution. I attend Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and I am majoring in advertising and marketing. After graduation in May 1993, I plan to work for an advertising agency in the Indianapolis area. This contribution will be a great help toward my expenses during my last year in college. Once again, thank you for the scholarship.” Joseph was recommended by Maria Kovács, Manager of Br. 62.
