Vig Julius, a Christian Református Egyház lelkésze imádkozott. Vigh K. Joan, titkár BRANCH 300 - WASHINGTON, D.C. The Hungarian Boys Scouts of Washington, D.C. held a Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, November 7, 1993. In behalf of the HRFA, Treasurer Suzanne S. Virgulák, presented a donation to their organization, which was accepted by Frank Koszorús, President of the Parent’s Organization. Teri Pflum of the Home Office sold a variety of Hungarian embroidery, dolls, and books, proceeds of which went to the Scouts and the Student Aid Fund of HRFA. The turnover was very successful; the visitors appreciated the beautiful Hungarian artifacts, and enjoyed delicious Hungarian dishes. The Boy Scout Dance Group and Tisza Ensemble performed during the course of the fair. Eva Kiss, Branch Manager Left to right: Teri Pflum, Frank Koszorús, Suzanne S. Virgulák Hungarian Boy Scouts Exhibit was arranged by Mrs. Marianne Koszorús final day brought parents and children together in worship and fellowship - some for the very first time. The response on those little faces to the revelation of God’s word was a remarkable adventure for all of us involved. I cannot go further without acknowledging Nadine Csornán who prepared and undertook the teaching of all crafts. Her enthusiasm and encouragement were instrumental in this undertaking. I praise God for his faithfulness in providing all the necessary ingredients for our success. The immediate results, beside our enjoyment have been the growth in our Sunday School attendance. (We now have six students.) I would like to close with the remarks of a child who came into the church as I was cleaning up the remains of our busy week. He looked up at me with a brilliance that astounded me and said, “Thanks Mrs. Csornán for inviting me to the Vacation Bible School. I had a good time and I’ll be back next year!” God has already placed the direction of our next Bible School through a little child. “In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.”
