FRATERNITY Page 35 basketball, baseball, racquetball and golf. This past spring I coached a boy's community basketball team. Once again I'd like to thank Edward Szabó and the HRFA for their gift, it will be a great help." Paul was recommended by Edward Szabó, Branch Manager HOLLY SZUCH, Member of Branch 67 "Our Christmas family gathering had a special gift for me. I was presented with a student aid scholarship. The generosity of the HRFA is greatly appreciated by me. I am a sophomore at Youngstown State University, working toward a degree in early childhood and elementary education. The Award will be put toward a tuition payment and will definitely help ease the financial burden of my college expenses. I attended Harding High School in Warren where I was both a junior varsity and varsity cheerleader. I was actively involved as an elected officer in Student Council for three years. In addition, I was a member of the tennis and track teams. I was also elected by the student body as a queen candidate to the Homecoming Court. I enjoy working with young children. As a future teacher, I would like to give to my students the same support and guidance that has always been given to me by my family and friends. My sincere gratitude is extended to the Federation for the scholarship award and especially to my aunt and uncle, Helen and William Szuch, for recommending me for the scholarship. Thank you!" Helen Szuch, who recommended Holly, is Manager of Branch 67 (Dear Imre: The scholarship check came the day after Christmas and since we were having the Szuch family Christmas party that evening, we decided to give it to Holly with her family around. They are also members of the HRFA. She was quite excited and when Bill presented it, she said it was the best Christmas gift ever. Holly is quite ambitious and works when she doesn't have classes to help with expenses. A Happy Healthy New Year to you. Sincerely, Helen) JOHN A.
