Kroslin Titkár BRANCH 21 - TOLEDO, OH At a meeting held at Calvin United Church on December 11, 1991, the following were elected for 1992: John Bistayi, President; Albert A. Bacho, Vice President; Mary S. Bacho, Secretary. Date for delegate election meeting was set for April 26, 1992. Mary S Bacho Secretary BRANCH 22 - YOUNGSTOWN, OH Branch meeting was held on December 22, 1991 at the home of Branch Manager Patricia Morey. The business of this meeting was to elect our branch officers for 1992 and to set the date for the election of our delegates to our convention which will be held in September 1992 in Washington, D.C. The branch officers are as follows: Stephen Szabó, President; John K. Morey, Vice President; Patricia Morey, Secretary-Treasurer. The date for the delegate election will be held on May 17, 1992 and on May 31, 1992 as the alternate date. It was noted by our Director John K. Morey that the membership is declining in the HRFA. If anyone would like to become an agent, please let Mr. Morey know. The membership in our branch is also declining. Some of the upcoming activities of the American Hungarian Reformed Church are dinners and bingo. Our branch will be glad to help at all activities. Since no more business was brought forward, the meeting adjourned. Patricia Morey Treasurer-Secretary & Branch Manager BRANCH 31 - LORAIN, OH Meeting at Aros's residence held on December 22, 1991 was opened with a prayer by Teresa Simone. Presiding officer was Roberta Aros. During the year, contributions were made to the Heart Fund, Cancer Society, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities. Memorial gifts were sent to the Hungarian Reformed Church, St. Ladislaus Church, Bethlen Home and St. Joseph Hospital, Hospice Unit. Wake and funeral services were attended for nine deceased members. Four new members were enrolled. Get well cards were sent to shut-ins. Visits to nursing homes and contributions to Food for the Needy and Catholic Charities are made by the officers each month. Officers for 1992 were elected: Roberta Aros, President; Teresa Simone, Vice President; Emma Aros, Secretary-Treasurer. Topics discussed: 1) Policies to be paid up at age 80. Many members at age 80 have exceeded the face amount of their policies with their premium payments. 2) Dividends to be issued in the form of additional paid up life insurance. 3) Long-term care policy - Vice President Secretary should research the possibility for a member to use a portion of his/her policy toward nursing home care when needed. 4) Consideration for expense account for branch managers. This would be a great incentive for branch managers. They use their homes to conduct Federation business, car expenses and all other business expenses in order to service members and to make sales. Emma Aros Secretary & Branch Manager BRANCH 33 - NEWARK, NJ Branch 33 held its annual election meeting for officers on February 17,1991 at 8:00 p.m. at the home of Branch Manager Fred Erdei. Elected were: Margaret Erdei, President; Sándor Bognár, Vice President; Elizabeth Fodor, Treasurer; Peggy Hempel, Secretary. Subjects discussed during the meeting was the lack of funds to sustain the "Hungarian Rhapsody Hour" Sunday mornings on WJDM which was hosted by Fred Erdei and had been successful in obtaining new members for the Branch through its advertisement.
