FRATERNITY BRANCH LIFE - OSZTÁLY ÉLET Page 17 BRANCH 1 - BRIDGEPORT, CT Meeting of our branch was held on January 26, 1992 at 10:45 a.m. at the Nagy Hall of the First United Church of Christ. Presiding officer was Mr. John Koi. Opening prayer was given by the Rev.Dr. Anthony Szilagyi. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read by Mr. Vincent Vida and the treasurer's report was accepted as presented by Mrs. Louis Berecz. Deceased members Mrs. Sari Gyenis, Mrs. Gabriel Sipos and Mrs. Alice Kertesz were remembered in prayer. Activities of the branch in 1991: two bus trips, one to Atlantic City and another to New York City. Special thanks to the ladies of the church for making every week delicious noodles for charitable purposes. Also mentioned was the branch donation in memory of Mrs. Margaret Bertalan. At the same meeting, officers for 1992 were elected: John Koi, President; Margaret Nagy, Vice President; Robin Racz, Treasurer; Ella Racz, Secretary. Date for delegate election meeting was set for April 26, 1992. Ella Racz Secretary BRANCH 3 - FAIRPORT HARBOR, OH The Fairport Harbor Hungarian Reformed Church donated $200 to the Fairport Harbor "Breakfast Bunch" Program. Mrs. Elizabeth Medgyesi, wife of Pastor Rev. Louis Medgyesi, Ohio Director of the Federation, also donated $50.00 in the name of HRFA-Br. #3. May I quote the words of Rev. Deacon Clem Urbanski of St. Anthony's Church, coordinator of the Breakfast Bunch: "How can one, how does one thank so many good people for their care, their love, their compassion for those in need? With our deepest gratitude, we say to each and every one of you, 'May the Good Lord love you always. May He bless you and keep you in His care.' The 'Breakfast Bunch' served over 5000 breakfasts during the last school year to the needy school children who attended McKinley School. That's about 1 out of every 10 children attending the school. A total of 54 different volunteers helped serve the breakfasts each school day. There are nine groups that serve on a rotating basis. Thanks to the generosity of our financial contributors, we have enough funds to operate through this coming 1991-92 school year. Thanks to the organizing group, especially Rev.
