Page 30 TESTVÉRISÉG (©trítuartes MARTHA BORS DE GROTHY 1903- 1990 Born in Csapdi, Hungary, daughter of the Rev. Julius Hanko and wife Theresa Halasz. Her parents brought her to the US in her infancy; she was reared in Hungarian Reformed Church manses in New York, Philadelphia, Columbus, Chicago and Milwaukee. She contributed her organ playing and leadership talents to all wherever she and her father served their God and their people. She served as secretary to the Rev. Arpad George, president of the HRFA in Washington, D.C. DR. TIBOR HAM 1914-1990 Tibor Ham, a Northern Virginia physician and Hungarian native died July 7, at his home in McLean, Virginia. Dr. Ham received his medical degree in Budapest and served on the staff of the Budapest City Hospital before WW II. Dr. Ham worked in the anti-German resistance during WW II. In 1945-47, he was an active leader of the democractic Smallholders Party and was arrested by the communists in 1947. He came to this country in 1951, where he became one of the founders of the Hungarian Committee, an exile group here. He joined the Federation (Br. 300) in 1954. His survivors include his wife, Margaret; four sons; a daughter, and eight grandchildren. TIBOR A. JUNGHANS 1904- 1990 Tibor Junghans died June 6, 1990. He was born in 1904 in Rakosliget (now part of Budapest). With his wife Stefánia, he emigrated to the US in 1963 to join his daughter, Marietta Dér, and her family and made his home in Silver Spring, Maryland. He joined the Federation in 1967 and worked in the Comptroller's Dept. GYULA LÁSZLÓ 1912-1990 Gyula László, born in 1912 in Hungary, died July 1990. In 1967 he joined the Federation and worked in the Comptroller's and Secretary's Departments respectively. He is survived by his wife, Maria. FRANK VEN WILSON SR. 1925-1990 Frank Ven Wilson Sr., of West Mayfield, died June 12, 1990, in Somerset Community Hospital, Somerset, PA. Born Oct. 2, 1925, in Kalocsa, Hungary, a son of the late Ven and Lőrinc Rozalia Mihály, he was a resident of West Mayfield since 1956, and retired in 1986 from Babcock & Wilcox Company, after 29 years of service. A member of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, Beaver Falls, he served as vice-president of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, Branch No. 151. Surviving are his wife, Helen; his stepmother in Hungary; three sons and two daughters; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother in Hungary and a niece and a nephew.
