PAGE 14 TESTVÉRISÉG BRANCH NEWS BRANCH 35-DETROIT, Ml April 30, 1989—On this day the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America honored those members of Branch 35 who have maintained membership here for 50 years or more. Throughout our 93-year history, the strength of the Federation has been built upon the dedication and sacrifice of its beloved members. Today we honor some of those who have given of themselves the longest. On Sunday, April 30,1989, the Lord blessed us with sunshine as Branch 35 celebrated Hungarian Reformed Federation of America day. We honored our members of 50 years or more by having church service at the Hungarian Reformed Church since many of our members attend that church. The Rev. Imre Bertalan welcomed Rev. Paul Kovács, Administrator of the Bethlen Home, Ligonier, PA, who spoke at both services. He told us about the Home and asked us to help by contributing support.
