Kovács Joseph, osztálykezeld BRANCH 69—COLUMBUS, OH A meeting was held also on February 21, 1988, at the Hungarian Reformed Church of Columbus, Ohio, between the two services at about 10:45 a.m. Since the Branch Manager and many members were not notified in due time, it was decided to postpone the meeting one week so that they could be present. No minutes were read. Rev. Paul Kantor outlined the purpose of the meeting: To elect officers for 1988 and to select a date at which a delegate to the September Convention of the HRFA could be elected. The members present agreed that Sunday, April 10, 1988 would be suitable for the meeting which would choose the delegate. The time would be 12:15 p.m. The 1988 officers were: Margaret Leonardo, Presi­dent; Carrie Szekely, Vice President; Rose Komives, Secretary-Treasurer. It was agreed that the financial reports would be filed for audit. Otto and Margaret Leonardo agreed to examine the records. Mary Marton made a motion to express the thanks of the members of Branch 69 to Charlotte and Paul Kantor for the work of the past year. Pastor Kantor felt that there was no need for it, since not much work was done, but Mary Marton asked the members, “All in favor?" They approved her motion unanimously. Rev. Vinter, HRFA Student Aid recipient, for being one of four young men chosen to work on a part time basis for the FBI. Otherwise he is currently enrolled at the University of Illinois with a major in Criminal Justice. Catherine Maloney, Branch Manager BRANCH 85—BROWNSVILLE, PA The minutes were taken at a meeting held on February 21,1988 in the sanctuary of the Calvin United Presbyterian Church, Brownsville, PA. Present were: Anna Novak, Branch Manager; Mary Bailey; Elvira Balog; Rev. Alexander Jalso; Irene Jalso; Margaret Roscheck; Joseph Sarkett; Margaret Sarkett. There were two items on the agenda: 1. To elect officers for the branch. The following officers were elected with unanimous consent: Rev. Alexander Jalso, President; Margaret Sarkett, Vice President; Irene Jalso, Secretary; Alexander C. Jalso, Treasurer. 2. To set the date of the next meeting. The date of the next meeting is April 10, 1988, Sunday, after the worship service in the sanctuary of the Calvin United Presbyterian Church.
