Lou Fintor together with President Bertalan in the Home Office An excerpt of his letter to President Bertalan: "I would like to formally thank you and the HRFA for providing me with a grant from the Student Aid Fund. Though I work fulltime (at McGraw-Hill Publications Company), it is very expensive to pursue studies at the doctoral level and the check which you provided me on behalf of the Federation will be put to good use at George Washington University. The Student Aid Grant will make up the difference between what my employer pays towards my tuition and what I am responsible for and helps a great deal. It was a pleasure meeting you and your staff. I hope that I might be able to use my PhD to benefit the Federation in the years to come and look forward to the possibility of contributing to Fraternity as my way of "payingback" the assistance you have extended." JOSEPH S. KOVÁCS, member of Branch 62, and son of our Branch Manager, Joseph Kovács, writes: "Thank you for the scholarship fund. It helped me a great deal. This will pay for part of my tuition cost this year. Since I live in Florida, I couldn't have my picture taken with my father. I sincerely appreciate the help and the thoughtfulness that went with it. Thank you again and God bless you." JOHN L. MOREY, member of Branch 22 and son of Branch Manager John K.
