Gabor Csordás, Secretary. Irene Csordás, Branch Manager BRANCH 13—PASSAIC, NJ On January 3, 1988 the meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m. and prayer was offered by Joseph Tegze. Branch manager, Wendy Tegze, thanked the mem­bers present for their attendance and advised that the primary purpose of the meeting is to elect new officers for the coming year and to select the delegate to the 1988 Fall Convention. The following were nominated and unanimously elected for the 1988 branch officers: President: Joseph F. Tegze; Vice President: Helen Kurucz; Treasurer: Julie Ivan; Secretary: Wendy Tegze. It was also moved and unanimously passed that Branch 13 will hold its 1988 Convention Delegate and Alternate Election Meeting on May 29, 1988 at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Passaic Hunga­rian Reformed Church. Newly elected President Joseph Tegze emphasized the importance of gaining new membership and participation in the May Convention Delegate and Alternate Election. He also outlined the new insurance portfolio of the HRFA and the need for everyone to evaluate their present insurance coverage because "one never has enough of life insurance." President Joseph Tegze having no further business to come before the meeting gave a closing prayer and adjourned the meeting. Wendy Tegze, Branch Manager BRANCH 15-PITTSBURGH, PA At a meeting on January 16,1988 the officers elected for 1988 were: Marianna Csikesz Bajusz, President; József Csikesz, Vice President; Francis Szirka, Trea­surer; Eva Szirka, Secretary. Clara V. Csikesz, Branch Manager BRANCH 17-SOUTH BEND, IN Minutes of Meetings-1987: A short business meét- ing was held on May 2, 1987 combined with a card party at the home of the branch manager. Charles and Helen Modory were surprised by the group in celebrating their "50th" wedding anniversary, which was the following week. At a meeting, combined with a picnic at Potawatomi Park, on July 25, 1987, the branch manager had informed the group of the upcoming International Culture Festival on September 12 & 13, 1987 in Hammond, Indiana, whereby it was decided to combine with Branches 62, 84, and 176 to have two booths for the Federation, the Modory's agreeing to be on the committee and working both days at the booths. A meeting was held on December 12, 1987 at the home of the branch manager for the election of officers for 1988. The minutes were read of the previous business meeting and approved. The following officers were elected: Charles Modory, President; Elivera Kajzer, Vice President; Catherine Kerestury, Treasurer; Helen K. Modory, Secretary. A Christmas Party followed the business meeting. The branch manager and the president will be out of state till March 1988. On their return, the next meeting will be called. Helen K. Kroslin, Branch Manager BRANCH 21-TOLEDO, OH At our meeting at the Calvin United Church of Christ on January 17, 1988, the following officers were reelected for 1988: John Bistayi, President; Betty Fejes, Vice President; Mary S. Bacho, Secretary; Albert A. Bacho, Treasurer. We set the date for our next meeting for 9:00 a.m. on March 6, 1988 at the above Church. Mary S. Bacho, Secretary BRANCH 22—YOUNGSTOWN, OH On January 17, 1988 the election of officers was held for the year 1988. Those elected are as follows: Stephen J. Szabó III, President; John K. Morey, Vice President; Patricia M. Morey, Secretary & Treasurer. John K. Morey, Branch Manager The dates were also selected to vote for delegate and alternate delegate to attend our convention which will be held the week of September 19, 1988 in Ligonier, PA. The election dates are April 17, 1988 during which our Annual Spring Bazaar will be held, and May 8, 1988 as the alternate date.
