Page 12 TESTVÉRISÉG "Kati" Csornán with relatives in Hungary József Andor and László Komlosi, for their help and dedication in making the summer semester a success. The part of my trip that was truly a highlight and that is always in my heart and on my mind are the two months that I spent in the village of Szentdomokos - the village where my father was born. In June for the first time I met my relatives, but from the first moment it seemed as if I had always known them. It was not long before I felt like a true "Magyar lány", and I was riding the bike to the store to buy bread or feeding the chicken or pulling vegetables from the garden. It was the time I spent in the village that was truly educating. It was here that I learned most of the language as well as the true meaning of Hungarian life and the Hungarian people. No matter where I toured or the beautiful places that I visited, I always felt happiest in the village. I am hoping to return soon to Hungary and continue my studies. Now I am enrolled in a Hungarian Language Course at the University of Pittsburgh as well as in courses on Eastern Europe. I hope to pursue a career in International Relations. I never felt prouder of being Hungarian. I praise God for organizations like the HRFA that help keep the Hungarian Spirit alive in America. I thank my family, especially my parents and grandparents, for their love and support in making my trip wonderful. And I extend my deepest gratitude to the HRFA for having awarded me a scholarship to help pursue my studies this past summer. Praise God for His blessings and may He continue to bless the work of the Federation. Sincerely, "Kati" Csornán BRANCH 4: RECIPIENTS OF CAMP SCHOLARSHIP From left to right: Julia Leszko, Rosa Rózsahegyi, Jolán Abel & George Leszko Martha Meszlenyi together with Jolán Abel
