The Hungarian School Care Club of Cleveland held its annual Mother’s Day Ceremony at St. Emeric’s Church, and once again the festivities turned out to be a great success. Part of the ceremony was the recognition and presentation of awards in six categories to the members of the school who had learned and presented Hungarian poems to the audience. After long consideration during the past weeks, the winners were picked and honored and given recognition by the school and various organizations. It must be noted that all the participants were considered winners for having learned a mandatory verse and also one of their own choice. Mr. Imre Bogardy, the principal of the school, read a letter of congratulations by Rev. Imre Bertalan, president of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, Washington, DC, to the school and the winners of each category, encouraging them to diligently keep up the good work that they have accomplished at the Hungarian Language School. He thanked the principal and the teachers for their dedicated work in preserving the Hungarian language and the Hungarian culture of our forefathers. Mrs. Ibolya Daroczy, one of the teachers at the language school and an officer of Branch #352 of the HRFA, read a letter of congratulations which she presented together with a cash prize to each of the winners on behalf of the Local Branch #352. 1(XXXXXX%XX%XXXX'X3VCXXXai?
