Tegze, Vice President-Secretary & William B- Puskas, Treasurer CONTEST FOR ALL AGES In Celebration of the Bicentennial Signing of the US Constitution At the last annual meeting of the National Fraternal Congress of America held in our Nation’s Capital, the NFC accepted a resolution which recommended that we formulate activities in order that our membership could take an active part in the National Celebration of the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution. All branches are requested to participate with appropriate programs. In addition, the Executive Committee invites all our membership to enter our contest by submitting a 1,000 to 1,500-word essay on: “Why we should celebrate the drafting and ratification of this faded parchment and the formation of our Federal Government?” 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded in all age categories: up to age 14 15 to age 18 19 to age 23 24 and over Mail all entries to the Home Office — Attention Contest Committee — and be sure to list your insurance policy number. Therefore, total liabilities, including reserves were $15,421,001. The total Admitted Assets of the Federation as of December 31, 1986, were $21,664,447. Therefore, the surplus over all liabilities including reserves was $6,243,446. The ratios of assets to liabilities have been 1986 - 140.49%; 1985 - 138.53%; 1984 - 135.63%; 1983 - 130.78%; 1982 - 129.73%. George R.
