FRATERNITY Page 15 BRANCH LIFE BRANCHES 1.52&63-CT Head Table of the HRFA 90th Anniversary Celebration held in Bridgeport, CT, on June 29, 1986. This event was sponsored jointly by the Connecticut Branches #1, 52 & 63 — Mrs. Suzanne Virgulák, Vice President, acting as Chairperson. BRANCH 17-SO. BEND, IN Kimberly K. Tkacz, granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Modory (Helen Modory is our Branch Manager for Br. #17), is one of the recipients of our Student Aid. Kimberly is an accounting major at Baylor University, Waco, Texas. She is not only involved in activities such as class fellowships and Bible studies, but is also a member of Gamma Beta Phi — a service organization for honor students. OSZTÁLY ÉLET BRANCH 20 - TRENTON, NJ On May 25th the members and friends in the Trenton area celebrated the 90th Anniversary of the HRFA with a dinner in the auditorium of the Hungarian Reformed Church on Beatty Street. The National officers were present and President Bertalan distributed Statue of Liberty awards to the four persons who where present who had arrived through Ellis Island. They related their experiences and recalled for us life in the early 1900’s. Balról-jobbra: Mrs. Ann Kroslin, Branch 20 Manager; Mr. Joseph Jenei, Chief Elder; Mr. William Miklovics; Rev. Imre Bertalan, President; Mrs. Julia Kerekes; Mr. Charles Simon; Mr. Imre Bogár, Vice Chief Elder. Imre Bogár, president of the local branch was given a citation in recognition of his many years of service to the HRFA. The delicious meal prepared by the ladies of the church and the fellowship of the many members was enjoyed by all. The Rev. Kalman Adorján, host pastor represents the Hungarian Reformed Church on the Board of Managers of the Bethlen Home, Ligonier, PA.
