Székházunk avatása Az új washingtoni Kossuth Házat november 22- én és 23-án tartandó ünnepségek keretében adjuk át rendeltetésének. Szombat reggel rendkívüli igazgatósági gyűlést tartunk. Washington és környéke magyarsága, valamint egyesületünk vidékről érkező tagjai és barátai szombat délután koszorúzzák meg a Kossuth domborművet. Utána megtekintik székházunk berendezését. Az este rendezendő ünnepi banket keretében az ország fővárosában is megünnepeljük az egyesület alapíttatásának 90. évfordulóját. A vasárnapi istentisztelet keretében arra is emlékezünk hálaadásunkban, hogy a magyar nyelvű istentisztelet Washingtonban 50 évvel ezelőtt indult. Akkor költözött az egyesület Ohio államból a főváros szívébe. Bertalan Imre Elnök köszönti 90 életévüket megért tagjainkat: Egyesületünk igazgatói és tagsága nevében köszöntőm abból az alkalomból, hogy Isten jóvoltából megérte a Zsoltáros által sokszor megénekelt és megcsodált 90 életévet. Hálát adunk életéért, a sok áldásért, mely életén keresztül érkezett szeretteihez, barátaihoz. Örvendezünk afelett is, hogy személyében az Egyesületünk építő tagját köszönthetjük. The 1980 CSO mortality table has been approved by six states — Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan. This is an important step in the life of the HRFA since our rates for all our life insurance certificates are now competitive with the commercial and fraternal insurance companies. Remember no administrative cost is added to our rates! In the above mentioned states, with the approval of the Executive Committee, I will increase all new applications as they are received in the Home Office to the maximum allowed, if the representative is not aware of the new rates, effective October 1. New rate books are being printed and as soon as possible will be sent to our agents, branch managers.
