Therefore, total liabili­ties, including reserves were $15,596,889. The total Admitted Assets of the Federation as of December 31, 1985, were $21,607,090. There­fore, the surplus over all liabilities including re­serves was $6,010,200. The ratios of assets to lia­bilities have been 1985-138.53%; 1984-135.63%; 1983-130.78%; 1982-129.73%; 1981-126.91%. George R. Schaumann, Vice President ANNOUNCEMENT The Office of the Secretary of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America is declared vacant. In accordance with the By-Laws, Article III, paragraph 33, and the directives of the Board, I hereby publicly announce that the position of Secretary will be filled by election of the Board of Directors of the HRFA to be held in Ligonier, PA, on September 4 and 5, 1986. Duty of the Secretary is specified in the By- Laws. The term of the office shall extend until the next Convention in 1988. Any adult member of the Federation, in good standing, who is an American citizen and who has the necessary quali­fications may apply.
