FRATERNITY Page 15 BRANCH 152 - UNIONTOWN, PA The First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg was the setting of a can­dlelight ceremony uniting in marriage Lynn Ann Elek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Elek of Car­michaels, PA and David Thomas Jones of Roscoe, PA. The bride a 1979 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School will graduate in 1984 from Waynesburg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administra­tion and accounting. The groom graduated from Waynesburg College in 1979 and West Virginia University in 1980 where he received his masters degree in public accounting. He is currently head of the business department of Waynesburg College and faculty member of both Waynesburg and Cali­fornia State Colleges. He is a Certified Public Ac­countant and partner in the firm of Grafe and As­soc. in Waynesburg. The young couple will reside in Carmichaels, PA. Congratulations and best wishes! Another happy occasion within the branch was the twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Williams. The entire family, includ­ing the four children Kathv, Norman, May Lvnn and Vicky, and the relatives and friends extend their best wishes for many more vears together! Marv Bofa BRANCH 250 - WOODBRIDGE, NJ Stephen Joseph Raez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ste­phen Raez of 777 Harrell Ave., Woodbridge, NJ, has been named to Who’s Who Among American High School Students in recognition of his academic, athletic, ex­tra-curricular activities and leadership achieve­ments. Mr. Raez was co-valedictorian of the Woodbridge High School Class of 1983. He was vice president of the Math Club, president of the Racquetball Cluh, captain of the Tournament of Excellence and the Decathlon of Knowledge teams and an alternate to the American Legion Boys State. He was a member of the National Honor Societv, the Gifted and Talented program, the Varsity ten­nis team, the Bowling Club, the computer club and the Interact Club. He also served as a math, science and Spanish tutor. The Woodbridge native was the recipient of the Alfred Bressaw Electric Co. scholarship, the Elks Science Award, the Math Award and the Ruth Erb History Award at the commencement exercises. He will attend Rutgers University College of Engineer­ing. Fhe entire Federation family wish to extend our congratulations to Stephen on a job well done. Con­tinue the good work; we all are proud of you! BRANCH 269 - PERTH AMBOY, NJ At the June meeting of the branch a report of the members who helped to decorate the Hungarian float in the 300th Anniversary Perth Ambov Parade j J was given. The float was one of the best in the parade and everyone was proud to see the work that had been put into it. Members were invited to attend the July 10th Banquet to be held for Rev. Dr. Francis Vitéz who will be retiring from the pastorate of the John Calvin Church. The dinner will be held at the Landmark Inn beginning at 5 p.m. ’Fhe September meeting of Branch 269 was held at the John Calvin Magyar Reformed Church on September 18th and was called to order and opened with praver bv the Branch Manager, Mrs. Francis Vitéz. Selections were read from the Newsletter of the Bethlen Nursing Home. It is interesting to note all the different activities going on in the Nursing Home. Members were urged to bring in donations for the Bazaar to be held in Ligonier sometime later this year. Some donations have already been for­warded to those in charge of arangements for the Bazaar. No further business was on the agenda and the meeting was closed. Mrs. F. Vitéz
