In the year 1981 the Federation placed $155,000.00 in first mortgage loans in the United States. No mortgages were placed in Canada. a. Molnár, Treasurer BRANCH NEWS — continued BRANCH 2 — CLEVELAND, OHIO ED SZABÓ has been appointed the Branch Manager due to the resignation of Dawn Ward, effective July 1, 1982. We welcome Ed and know that the members of the branch will give him their full support. Payments of premiums may be made every Sunday morning in church, or may be sent to the Federation office. Ed lives at 4947 Richmond Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128. Phone: 292-7683. BRANCH 404 — WINDSOR, CANADA It is with regret that we accept the resignation of Wilma and John Szabó, Branch manager. Since they no longer live in the immediate area of Windsor, they have difficulty with contacting members. We hope to be able to announce the new manager shortly. BRANCH 67 — SHARON, PA. Lt. MATTHEW MILLER recently completed advanced flight training with the 449th FTS Mather AFB, California. He was awarded the Deputy Commander for Operations plaque by Col. Smith. This award is presented to a flight crew member who exhibits exemplary flying ability and outstanding academic performance. In addition, Lt. Miller was named distinguished graduate of his class. Other recent honor bestowed upon him were: Distinguished graduate of his undergraduate flight training class, recommendation for duty as a flight instructor with USAF Air Training Command and Distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Officer Training School. Lt. Miller and his wife, the former Edith Kovács, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Paul Kovács of Ligonier, Pa., will soon reside at Robins, A.F.B. 11
