provisions of these by-laws relating to admissibility to membership, payment of dues and assessments, change of beneficiaries, or any of the provisions of the membership certificates; and any action taken by anyone else through inadvertence or oversight shall not operate by way of waiver or estoppel against the Federation. 120. Should any provision of these by-laws conflict with the laws of any of the states or provinces wherein the Federation is licensed to operate, the provisions of the laws of the states and provinces shall prevail to the same extent as if specifically incorporated herein. 121. Whenever the adult membership of the Federation shall diminish to one hundred fifty (150) members or less, a special meeting of the Convention shall be called, whereupon a plan of procedure shall be adopted as to the dissolution or reorganization of the Federation. 122. Roberts Rules of Order shall prevail in the procedures of meetings unless otherwise stated in the by-laws. ARTICLE XVIII AMENDMENTS TO THE BY-LAWS Amendments to the by-laws may only be made by the Convention. Amendments may be proposed by the Board of Directors or a branch. All proposed amendments to the by-laws by a branch shall be forwarded to the Executive Committee at least one month before the first day of the Convention. The amendments shall be presented to the Board of Directors for their recommendations. The proposed amendments shall be presented to the Convention along with the written recommendations of the Board of Directors. Amendments proposed by the Board of Directors shall be submitted directly to the Convention. Amendments may be passed by a majority vote of the members of the Convention. RESOLUTION These by-laws were revised and published by the By-Laws Committee of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America according to the resolution and direct instruction of the Regular Convention held in Ligonier, Pa., from June 23 to 26, 1980. (Continued from page 8) Elizabeth Jane Dudás born in Norwalk, Conn, on December 10, 1961 to the parents of Frank and Grace Dudás. She attended Cran- bury Elementary, West Rocks Middle and Norwalk High Schools. She was baptized in the Hungarian Reformed Church of South Norwalk. She continued with Sunday School and was confirmed at the age of 13. She was a Sunday School teacher and also taught in the Vacational Bible School and the Hungarian School. She also sang in the choir and was a member of the Youth Fellowship. She was at one time a secretary, treasurer and president of the youth groups. She also attended the Calvin Synod Youth camp for two summers in Pennsylvania. She made her first debut at the age 16 at the Cafe Budapest in Westport, Conn. She was a dancer with the Hungarian dance group in Norwalk for three years. She continued to learn more of her heritage when she traveled to Sárospatak, Hungary at age 15 where she learned more about the country and its history and also improved in her reading and writing skills. She took ballet for three years, was very talented in gymnastics throughout her school years. She took piano lessons for three years and voice for two years participating in numerous recitals. She received a scholarship from the Hungarian Committee which she is using for her studies in health and science at the Norwalk Community College this fall. All the members of the Dudás family are good standing members of the HRFA.
