Puskas, Jr. CONVENTION SECRETARIES Governor Dick Thornburgh being in China on March 11th asked Lieutenant Governor William Scranton, III to present to the rep­resentatives of the Hungarian — American community the Procla­mation signed by the Governor proclaiming March 15, 1980 as Kossuth Day and Hungarian In­dependence Day in the Common­wealth of Pennsylvania. Lajos Kos­suth came to the United States in 1852, and was given a hero’s wel­come. He was also given the great honor to address the United States Congress, an honor previously en­joyed by only by one foreign visi­tor — General Lafayette.
