We received the news from Dr. Antal Viczian, our New York Section Manager that in October, 1978 he married Misä Katalin Noszlopi Németh in the Budapest Pozsonyi Street Hungarian Reformed Church. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Reverend József Adorján, dean of the Northern Classis of the Reformed Church in Hungary. Rev. Louis Illés presented to President George this year again a gift of five cases of wine donated by the Women's Club of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Duquesne, Pennsylvania. Rev. Paul Kovács, administrator, at Christmas will give a bottle of wine to every resident of the Bethlen Home. This is an old Hungarian custom maintained by the Women’s Guild. The members of the Women’s Guild also made 60 lap robes for the women residents of the Home. The elderly persons received the gifts with grateful thanks. The FBI’s 25th Annual Vesper Service was held on April 30th at the National Presbyterian Center in Washington. D. C. Special music was rendered by the US Navy Sea Chanters. Webster, Director of the FBI: and Evangelist Pat Robertson, of tiie Christian Broadcasting Network headquartered in Portsmouth, Va. during the year. Two of the members are in Hungary attending the famous Semelweiss Doctors University in Budapest: Patricia Szabó in her fourth year and Shirley Csatlós in her first year. Sandra Sonye who has been dancing since she was 3 years old that is 19 years ago is in sunny Florida. She is working as a teacher of dance at the deaf education unit in the Cross Bayou Elementary School in St. Petersburg. Sandra danced from the bright lights of Broadway into the hearts of her young deaf students. During the summer months Sandra attended the University of South Florida, studying the international sign language of the deaf. Sandra in her spare time is choreographing for the “Sunshine Kids” in production in St. Petersburg. The Hungarian Reformed Church in Carteret, New Jersey celebrated its 75th anniversary at the worship service held on October 22nd. The Rev. Dr. Tibor Chikes a member of Branch No. 300 preached the word of God. The President of the HRFA attended the anniversary banquet on October 28th. The grateful congregation expressed its thanks to the HRFA for the $30,000 mortgage received in 1952 which made the well planned building of the Bethlen Hall fellowship center possible. A Hungarian music program was presented by the Chamber Singers of the Kodály Chorus. 6
