ÁRPÁD GEORGE: From the OFFICE of the PRESIDENT Rev. Bertalan with 1 alorie Goodall On September 9th the fifth Hungarian Festival was held at the Garden State Arts Center, Holmsdel, New Jersey. The number of the visitors participating in the festival yearly exceeds the 5,000 figure. The daily performances culminate in the stage program starting at 4 o'clock. Plaza activities beginning at 11:00 o’clock included a Soccer match, a parade of flags, folk dancing, cul­tural displays, a book fair and a forum for Hun­garian writers and poets. Mr. William Szuch one of our Vice Presidents was tlte president of the Sharon Westinghouse Veteran Employees Association, a voluntary organization of 1,651 active members, and 1,300 others who are re­tired. An employee must have at least 20 years service with the company to join. 400 members attended the annual dinner-dance held on October 21st at St. Michael's Center in Hermitage, Pa. The new president of the association is William C. Reese, employment supervisor, succeeding Wil­liam Szuch, a fitter, assuming office on November 6th. Other officers are industrial engineer Robert V olfinger, vice president, secretary-stenographer Frances Trotta, secretary, and computer programmer Haydn Hughes, treasurer. Szuch becomes the junior past president and Adam Krukar, the senior past president, V illiam Nigro, a core builder, is the new director, succeeding the current senior past president Lawrence Campbell who goes off the hoard.
