VARGO: FROM THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY As we enter September, the third month of our Production Contest is well underway. Full details of the contest rules are printed elsewhere in this publication in English and Hungarian. I urge all of our field personnel to participate in these contests as it could mean additional money to you and we are increasing our membership, which is our goal for the balance of the year of 1977. It is my pleasure to welcome back in our midst, Joseph S. Arno8ky, Cleveland, Ohio Section Manager, who was hospitalized with a heart attack at the end of June. He is well on the road to recovery and we thank God for returning him to good health. The prayers of our entire Federation are always with our distressed brethren during their illness. Our fraternal greetings are extended to Albert B. Batta of Branch 238 in Youngstown, Ohio. He has replaced the late Rev. Alexander Marton who carried the banner of the Federation for many, many years. We wish Albert the best of luck and success in this venture and request the members of Branch 238 to assist him and contact him for any of their insurance requirements. We have life insurance for the entire family and he will be most happy to explain our various plans. Our field workers meeting will be held on September 3rd. A report of the meeting will be in the next issue. I would like to make an appeal to our entire membership for assistance in increasing our membership rolls. No doubt there are members of your own family, relatives or friends, that are not members of our Federation. There are plans available that can cover almost any situation. If it is strictly protection, then we have our Whole Life plan, Term or Mortgage Term to cover the new home which you recently purchased. For those looking for a savings plan or RETIREMENT, we have a variety of endowments from which to choose as well as our 20 Payment Life plan. We make this appeal to you as this is your Federation and the stronger we are financially and in membership, the better it is for us to continue our many charitable acts. 4
