News from Branch 165, Akron, Ohio Victoria Bankó Stevan A. Zelei, 16, member of our Juvenile Branch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Zelei deserves congratulations for his achievements in scouting. His Sash is covered with many meritorious emblems, among them the Eagle Scout award, the Ad Altare Dei just recently the Pope Pius XII emblem. He is a member of the Marnoc Lodge 151 and very active with troop 188. He is a good student and participates in many groups in high school and in the band. A triple graduation from the Ernest Albert family. The twin daughters Charlene and Cheryl, and son Ricky Louis graduated from Woodbridge High School in June. Both girls have been awarded a scholarship by the Northampton PTA. Charlene plans to study radiology and Cheryl will study nursing. Another daughter Cynthia graduated from City’s School of Nursing, all with high honors. Ricky has joined the U.S. Army and at present he is at Ft. Dix. The Alberts are all members of branch 165. We are very proud of our young members for their achievements and wish God’s blessings in their chosen field of service. We are sure their grandmother would be very proud of them. She was a former resident of the Bethlen Home for the Aged for many years. ☆ ☆ Walter Zoltán Parker Walter Zoltán Parker graduated from the Fort Hunt High School with honor. He intends to continue his studies in Business Administration College. He is a member of our Federation Branch No. 300, son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Walter Parker, and grandchild of our President Bishop Zoltán Beky Victoria Bankó was graduated Cum Laude from the Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, New Jersey on June 9, 1976. Her honors included the Rensselaer Medal and the Dorr Prize in Science. Also the Class of 1876 Prize in Mathematics, and the Presidential Physical Fitness Award. In September she will enter Yale University. She is the daughter of Mrs. Ida Bankó who is Branch Manager for Branch 302 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. ☆ AYouth Conference of the Calvin Synod In Ligonier, Pa. Dr. Zoltán Beky, President, presents the $1,000.00 check from the Federation to Rev. Arthur Antal, director of the Calvin Synod Youth Camp. Others in the picture are, Rt. Rev.
