80th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA Dr. Zoltán Beky delivers the Anniversary Address. Our Western Pennsylvania District under the able leadership of Mr. Joseph Molnár, Jr., and his wife held a Bicentennial and 80th Anniversary dinner- dance at the Holiday Inn in West Mifflin, Pa., on -May 1. Present from the Home Office were Bishop Dr. Zoltán Beky, President, Rt. Rev. Arpad George, Secretary, and Mr. László L. Eszenyi, Controller. The Committee was as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Molnár, Jr., Margaret Kottán (Oeler), Mrs. Rose Kovács, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jantek, Rev. Sán­dor Mészáros, Mrs. Yolanda Balogh, Mr. Steve Üveges, Mrs. Olga Darnay, Mrs. Irene Sakalo, Mrs. Helen Kayatin, Mr. Andrew Peclet, Mrs. Marie Vatgo, Mrs. Elmer Orris, also the other branch managers and members. Mrs. Joseph Molnár, Jr., Chairlady of the Banquet. Mrs. Martha Holmes cuts the Anniversary Torta. Donations given towards this dance were numer­ous: by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Molnár, $50.00 United Savings Bond; $25.00 United Savings Bond by Mrs. Margaret Kottán; $5.00 each by Mr. Charles Nagy, Mr. William Szuch and Mrs. Olga Darnay. Other door prizes: M rs. Rose Kovács, Mrs. Helen Gociesjew and Mrs. Margaret Kottán. The Anniversary cake was made and decorated in Hungarian colors by Mrs. Holmes. We want to thank all those who attended our Dinner-Dance and made it a success. We are giving the proceeds of $1,000 to the Bethlen Home and $750 to the Student Aid Fund. Thank you all again Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Molnár and the committee. Dr. Joseph P. Bakty Dr. Joseph P. Bakty, son of our Director Joseph and Iren Bakty, Hamilton, Ont. Can. The talented young man just graduated as Doc­tor of Dental Science of the University of Toronto. We are proud of his ac­complishment and wish to congratulate him and wish him good luck in his fu­ture career. 13
