THE WHITE HOUSE May 17, 1976 WASHINGTON Dear Bishop Beky: For over eighty years the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America has excelled in charitable and educational work among citizens of Hungarian origin. It is to be commended on its efforts to instill and strengthen the strong sense of patriotism in immigrants and first-generation Americans of Hungarian descent. The Federation is also to be applauded for helping to preserve and perpetuate the rich Hungarian heritage in this country. As a leader of the Hungarian American community who over the years has generously given his time and talents to many programs of great national significance, you also deserve a special tribute on this milestone of one of our country's finest Hungarian American organizations. Coinciding with the celebration of our national Bicentennial, the Federation's anniversary appropriately reminds us of the wonderful contributions of Hungarian Americans to our national life. It is in this spirit that I congratulate you and wish you Godspeed for the future. Sincerely, The Right Reverend Zoltán Beky, D.D. Bishop Emeritus National President Hungarian Reformed Federation of America 3216 New Mexico Avenue, NW. Washington, D.C. 20016
