1 CLEVELAND GROUP DONATES $1,025 TO THE BUILDING FUND Elmer E. Vargo, Director On Sunday, September 8, two buses brought our Clevelanders to The Bethlen Home with their donation of $1,025.00. This is the yearly pilgrimage under the sponsorship of The Cleveland Hungarian Ladies Charity Club and Branch No. 4 of The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America. After a pleasant trip from Cleveland where fellowship filled the buses, the group was served lunch in the Children’s home and were welcomed by Rev. Kalman Csia. They then had a short devotional service in the chapel and visited with the residents and inspected the addition of the new wing. At the dinner remarks were made by those arranging the trip and Mr. Emery Király who now resides in Florida. Mr. Király had a pleasant time remembering many happenings in the lives of his many Cleveland friends. This was a very enjoyable day for all and special thanks are offered to Mrs. Bertha Ludescher, President of the Cleveland Hungarian Ladies Charity Club and Mrs. Mary Balogh, President of Branch No. 4 of The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America. The following are also to be remembered for their participation and work in making this day a success: Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hartman, Mrs. Violet Sa- rosi, Mrs. Helen Toth, Mrs. Geza Vass, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Frankhouser, and Mrs. Anna Harmati. Although Mrs. Elizabeth Livak, Vice President of Branch No. 4 was unable to make the trip, she certainly collected a tidy sum of money from the merchants and contributed greatly to enable the group to make such a generous donation to our Bethlen Home. The thanks of our entire Bethlen Home staff is extended to all of our dedicated and faithful supporters for this kind act. We pray that they will continue to support us in this manner and ask that the blessing of Almighty God be with them forever.
