Albert entered the hospital the next day for a check­up, went through surgery and is on his way to re­covery. Greetings were extended to the members of the Emery Percei family, former Supreme Council member. In the afternoon and following the banquet, Rev. and Mrs. Andrew Harto, her mother and bro­ther were excellent hosts at the parsonage. Dr. Tibor Halo, Section Manager, was also the guest of the Harto family. Promotional plans were discussed. Dr. Halo’s present production is 113%. He was happy to report the first meeting of the four Detroit merged branches. We are happy to publish the picture of Mrs. Margaret Beregszászi, elected secretary of the branch who prepared and served refreshments for the meeting, making it a great social success. The Secretary also met Mr. Joseph Molnár, Jr., District Manager of our Western Pittsburgh area, who spent a month’s vacation in Hungary with his wife. During his absence, the Federation’s promo­tional work came to a standstill. The branch man­agers responded to his appeals through circulars, and his production rose to 135% as the result of his sys­tematic and wholehearted promotional work. Our Cleveland branch office was moved to 10706 Buckeye Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44104. We thank Mr. Joseph Arnosky, Mr. László Kernes and Mrs. Jolán Abel for the hard work of moving the branch ma­terial to the new office. Mr. Elmer Vargo, Board of Director, deserves special thanks for renting a U-Haul truck and driving the valuable books and historically important material to our Ligonier library and mu­seum. We sponsored the Cleveland Hungarian soccer team in the past, and we plan to help them finan­cially in the future also. Mr. Kemes, Mr. Bogár, Mrs. Oris and Dr. Viczian also hope to end the year with a 100% production record. Mrs. Margaret Beregszászi The Secretary, on his way to attend the Penn­sylvania State Fraternal Convention in Scranton, Pa., met with some of the members of our New Jersey Field Force to encourage them in their promotional work for the Federation. Mr. William Puskas prom­ised to better his production record. He raised it from 95% to 101%; Mr. Joseph Gyenes raised it from 93% to 97%; and Mr. Alexander Hody raised it from 114% to 125%. Following the Sunday and Monday evening ban­quets, the Convention delegates enjoyed the artistic performances' of the local Ukrainian and Slovak Ethnic fraternal groups. The Convention was closed on Tuesday with an F.I.C. (Fraternal Insurance Coun­sellors’) luncheon. The speaker was a $2,000,000.00 production agent of the Lutheran Brotherhood. He works in a 10-mile radius area consisting of 11 Luthe­16
