The two new staff workers will take their oaths during this Board meeting in accordance with our tradition. Our past Board member Mr. Karoly Kiss who moved away from his district to Miami, thus he has not been eligible for reelection, participates for the last time in the meeting of our Board. I wish to express to him our heartfelt thanks for his many years of faithful service, not only as a member of this Board, but as former chief elder of our large Detroit Church for many decades, as chief elder of the Hungarian Reformed Churcli in America and for his many contributions to our American Hungarian life. We have learned to love him very much and we shall miss him. May God guide Him in the coming years. At the same time I am happy to welcome Mr. Gazel Vespremi, the new member of our Board, who is not really new in our midst as he has been a very prominent member of this Board for years and served as our Vice-President with distinction. May God help him in our service and joint endeavors. * * * * At the end of my report I wish to express my deep gratitude to Almighty God that He gave me strength to carry out my responsibilities and labors. I am very grateful to my fellow officers, members of the Board, to our office workers, among them to the secretary of my office Béla Tóth for his unparalleled loyalty and dedication, and also to our Field Force for their faithful work in upbuilding of our Federation.
