The award winners with the National Officers and Board of Directors at the New Brunswick meeting. rededicated the “Parish Center” huilt 3 years ago to “Bessemer Center” on June 3rd. Bishop Szamoskozy preached the Hungarian and the Secretary preached the English sermons. At the banquet the Secretary emphasized that the HRFA gave the mortgage at a low interest rate which enabled the congregation to build the beautiful, modern and well-equipped “Bes­semer Center.” He introduced Mr. Stephen Molnár, branch manager, and asked the church members to become members of the Federation. On June 8th the Secretary preached the English sermon and assisted Pastor Joseph Kecskemethy in serving the elements of Holy Communion. Rev. Kecs­kemethy, former Secretary, introduced Mr. Alexander Hody as the new Section Manager of the Greater Passaic area. On June 15th the Secretary attended the mar­riage ceremony of Rev. Paul Ferenczy, Section Man­ager, and Jolán Fedor of Holiday, Florida, in Li- gonier, Pa. The Rt. Rev. Louis Nagy, superintendent of the Bethlen Home, the brother of the bride and Rev. Paul C. Ferenczy, the son of the groom jointly performed the marriage ceremony. A reception was held in the home of the Superintendent. The Secre­tary extended the personal greetings and best wishes of President Beky to the newly wed couple. Miss Elizabeth Ann Sabo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sabo, Section and Branch Managers in Windsor, Ontario, received the Graduate and Diploma of Nursing on June 16, 1973. She also received the “Medical Staff Award” and the award of “Bursary for Post Graduate Study” scholarship. In September she will continue her study in nursing and medicine at the Windsor Uni­versity. She is also an applicant for our scholarship contest as member of Branch 404.
