During the year I attended the New Jersey and the Maryland & District of Columbia State Congress meetings. At the NFC in Denver, Colorado in 1971 I was elected President of the State Fraternal Congress Section of the NFC and presided in Dallas, Texas October 1-4, 1972 as president of the State Fraternal Congress Section, representing the Federation. I am now a member of the Executive Committee. I am also Treasurer of the American Hungarian Federation. * * * In conclusion, even though this year was a Convention Year with its added expenses, it was a good year. The credit for this goes to all those who made it possible. I thank my fellow officers for the splendid support they gave me during the past year. To the Board of Directors I express my thanks for their kind support and understanding, not only in the past year, but throughout the past twelve years I have served as Treasurer. I express my thanks to those in the Home Office and to the Field Force who have given me their support whenever I called upon them. I especially thank my secretary, Elizabeth Balazs, and my bookkeeper, Mrs. Iren Simon, for their outstanding work in the Treasurer’s Department. May the spirit of good will and mutual understanding continue and prevail for many years in furthering the growth of our Federation. I submit my report for the year 1972, trusting that upon examination, it meets with your approval and acceptance. Fraternally yours, Paul St. Miklossy, Treasurer 18
