WHEREAS, the City of Cleveland is honored to host the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America on the occasion of its Diamond Jubilee, the 75th year of its founding; and

WHEREAS, the great strides, natural and spiritual, made by the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America during this century, must be attributed to its remarkable leadership, which has always kept in mind, the interest of the Hungarian Community; and

WHEREAS, the courage, initiative, industry, persever- Anniversary Day”,

WHEREAS, your Organization, the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America stands today a leader in every Hungarian- American community from Connecticut to California.

NOW, THEREFORE I, Carl B. Stokes, Mayor of the City of Cleveland do hereby proclaim Saturday May 8, 1971, as HUNGARIAN REFORMED FEDERATION of AMERICA DIAMOND JUBILEE - 75th ANNIVERSARY DAY and wish you well in the knowledge that you will ever persevere in the manner that has rendered the Hungarian people among the outstanding members of American Society.
