CARL B. STOKES mayor PROCLAMATION By the Mayor of the City of Cleveland, Ohio Designating Saturday May 8, 1971, as Cleveland város polgármestere Carl B. Stokes “REFORMÁTUS EGYESÜLETI NAPPÁ” deklarálta május 8.-át és Egyesületünk elnökét a város kulcsával tüntette "HUNGARIAN REFORMED FEDERATION OF AMERICA DIAMOND JUBILEE 75th ANNIVERSARY DAY" ki. WHEREAS, the City of Cleveland is honored to host the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America on the occasion of its Diamond Jubilee, the 75th year of its founding; and WHEREAS, the great strides, natural and spiritual, made by the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America during this century, must be attributed to its remarkable leadership, which has always kept in mind, the interest of the Hungarian Community; and Carl B. Stokes, mayor of Cleveland, Ohio declared May 8th as “Hungarian Reformed Federation of America Diamond Jubilee 75th WHEREAS, the courage, initiative, industry, persever- Anniversary Day”, ance and foresight has helped to build a better Hungarian-American community in every respect -- without such leadership, the tremendous gains of the last generation would have been impossible; and WHEREAS, your Organization, the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America stands today a leader in every Hungarian- American community from Connecticut to California. 2 Andrew Dono, assistant to Mayor Stokes, presents the Golden Key to the City to Dr. Zoltán Beky, president of the Federation.
