ITEMS OF INTEREST JOSEPH KECSKEMETHY: RESULTS OF THE SEVENTIETH ANNIVERSARY MEMBERSHIP DRIVE CONTEST The 70th Anniversary Membership Drive Contest of The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, beginning in January and continuing until August 15, 1966, has been carefully checked and tabulated, and we can now publish the names of the winners, according to districts, based upon the production of each contestant. It was not possible to determine the winners of the awards sooner, because all certificates written in the contest had to be checked for good standing (dues paid up to date), since one of the rules was that only certificates paid up to date could be credited. As late as September, there were many arrearages in dues payments, therefore, it was necessary to wait for the October Monthly Reports to determine the final results. Regarding the Contest Rules and Regulations, I would like to refer you to the February and June-July issues of our Fraternity. Studying the rules, you will readily understand why there are no awards in many instances — the reason being that either the certificate or the insurance-in-force requirements were not met.
