FRATERNITY 3 d) Ministers and Elders should strive to retain the high perspective of ministry in the Hungarian Reformed tradition. These and many of the other points discussed can only serve in the spreading of the Word of God. The meeting reconvened on Monday morning with a worship service and celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The Rev. Alexander Daroczy and the Rev. Francis Vitéz officiated. After a brief intermission the Rev. Joseph Kecskemethy gave his report on “Our Youth Camp”. The greetings of the congregations and elders of the Reformed Church of Hungary were conveyed by the distinguished Chief Elder of the Cistibiscan Synod of the Reformed Church of Hungary, Professor Dr. Kalman Ujszaszy. In his message he revealed what it means to be an elder in the Hungarian Reformed Church today in Hungary, what it means to retain the Hungarian Reformed faith amidst the challenges and difficulties and changes of our time. On the recommendation of the President, Joseph Benedek, the meeting voted to dispense with the usual appointment of a Resolutions Committee and accepted for discussion the six-point recommendation of the Eastern Section. Many delegates responded to the discussion in favor of accepting the six points in the resolution form. A heart-rending seconding motion came from John Szabó (Passaic, N. J.), whose statement was that “there are no problems too great in communication, cooperation and union, which cannot be overcome, if we attack these problems in a true Hungarian Reformed Christian spirit. Also seconding and speaking in favor of the motion were: Rt. Rev. Dr. Zoltán Beky, president of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America; Rev. Julius Paal, Homestead, Pa.; Dr. Alexander Kiss, New York; Joseph Molnár, Passaic, N. J.; Stephen Lippoczky, South Norwalk, Conn.; Alexander Dombrady, Detroit, Mich.; Ernest Szucs, Cleveland, West Side; Joseph Benedek, Cleveland, East Side; the Rt. Rev. Bishop Louis Nagy; and many others. The meeting concluded with a luncheon held in the Old Folks Home, where the official greetings were extended by the following: Rt. Rev.
