IV. CLAIM SETTLEMENTS Properly submitted claims were settled within 24 to 48 hours. — During the past year we handled 3,231 claims. V. TRUST FUNDS a) On the so called “Orphans’ Trust Fund” (benefit shares of minors and unsettled death claims) the year end balance was $18,262.28. b) Balance of “Unclaimed Matured Fund” amounted to $74,410.73. VI. BUDGET I prepared, in cooperation with the Supreme Officers, the budget plan for 1965 for final approval. A Budget Expense Reconciliation was presented to the Supreme Officers and to the Business Counsellors each month.
