Dr. Reiss is a native of Hungary, and has achieved international recognition in the science of dermatology. In addition to his position on the staff of Montefiore Hospital, he is secretary-general of the Inter­national Society of Tropical Dermatology. He was introdcued by Dr. George Clinton Andrews, professor emeritus, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, and consulting dermatologist to the Co­lumbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Gilbert Miller Dr. Frederick Reiss Douglas Edwards, of CBS News, served as toastmaster of the George Washington Awards affair, and the inscribed award medallions were presented by Professor August J. Molnár, president of the Ameri­can Hungarian Studies Foundation. The Foundation, established in 1954, is a non-profit organization devoted to furthering the understanding and appreciation of Hungarian culture and historical heritage in the United States. It supports and promotes publications, research and educational programs in keeping with its objectives, and maintains an office in New Brunswick in con­junction with Rutgers University. ★ ★ ★ We salute and congratulate our own Professor Molnár for this outstanding affair.
