2 FRATERNITY JOSEPH KECSKEMETHY: ITEMS OF INTEREST A PICTORIAL REVIEW Kossuth House Dedication — 27th National Convention The last week of May and the first week of June 1964 will remain memorable in the life of our Federation. It was during these days that our third and most imposing Kossuth House, the largest and most beautiful of our Home Office buildings, was dedicated, and our 27th National Convention held. Detailed accounts of these outstanding events were given in Hungarian in the last two issues of our “Fraternity”. In this issue, however, we would like to review these important events in English and through pictures to show, especially to our younger generation, the events that took place in the Nation’s Capital and in the life of our Federation, and to acquaint them with the officers and leaders of our Federation. The series of events began on May 31 at 10 o’clock in the morning, when delegates and guests numbering many hundreds assembled at the Arlington National Cemetery before three honored graves: The Unknowns, the late President John F. Kennedy and General Julius Stahel-Szamwald, one of Lincoln’s Hungarian heroes. Wreaths were placed on these graves by members of our Supreme Council. Dr. Zoltán Beky, Vice President; Albert A. Fiok, Legal Counsellor, and Zigmond Palagyi, Member of Supreme Council, lay Federation's wreath on the Tomb of the Unknowns.
