FRATERNITY 11 59. President Borshy assured him of the Federation’s good will and coooperation, and asked him to convey the Federation’s heartfelt greet­ings to the William Penn Association. 60. The minutes of the third day were read by Recording Secretary Dr. Harsanyi. THE CONVENTION APPROVED THE MINUTES AS READ AND THE PRESIDENT APPOINTED MR. TIBOR DOLINSZKY, MR. IMRE LABAS AND MRS. HELEN SZÜCH TO ATTEST TO SAME. 61. The President at this time appointed the Rev. Imre Nagy, Mrs. Margaret Hámos and Mr. John Nagy (Fairfield, Conn.) to attest the minutes of the fourth day in case the Convention should end on that day. 62. Upon question of the President, the chairmen of the various committees gave the following progress report: the Administrative Com­mittee and the Bethlen Home Committee were ready to report, while the Finance Committee asked for twenty more minutes to complete its work. They were instructed to use the lunch recess for this purpose. 63. Mr. John Szabó, secretary of the Administrative Committee, presented the Committee’s report. The Rev. Béla Bacsó was chairman. 64. The Administrative Committee presented the following recom­mendations: a) The President’s report be accepted and the President be given release from his official duties of the quadrennium; also the Convention express its appreciation for the President’s fine work. THE CONVENTION UNANIMOUSLY ACCEPTED THIS REC­OMMENDATION. b) An expression of thanks be extended to the Supreme Of­ficers, members of the Supreme Council and all others connected with the planning and the building of the new Kossuth House. THE CONVENTION UNANIMOUSLY ACCEPTED THIS REC­OMMENDATION. c) The Secretary’s report be accepted and the Secretary be given release from his official duties of the quadrennium; also the Convention express its appreciation for the Secretary’s diligent work. THE CONVENTION UNANIMOUSLY ACCEPTED THIS REC­OMMENDATION. d) The reports of the three Vice Presidents, the report of the Legal Counsellor and the report of the Medical Director be ac­cepted and release from their official duties be granted to them. THE CONVENTION UNANIMOUSLY ACCEPTED THIS REC­OMMENDATION. e) Legal Counsellor Albert Fiók be congratulated on his ele­vation to judgeship and the appropriate gift of a judicial robe and a gavel be presented to him; the Supreme Officers be entrusted with the purchase and presentation of same. THE CONVENTION ACCEPTED THIS RECOMMENDATION.
