26 FRATERNITY a Hungarian House planned by a Hungarian and constructed by a Hungarian for use by Hungarians and those of Hungarian descent. IX. Miscellaneous Matters Under this heading, those matters are included which fall collectively under administrative, investment and general matters which cannot be specifically included under any specified accomplishments, but which, nevertheless, consumed time and effort. These included letters, the drawing of legal documents, the making of long distance telephone calls, trips and conferences. During the last four years, I have written a total of one hundred sixty-three letters concerning Federation matters, drew up fifty-two legal documents, rendered thirty-one legal opinions, prepared four cases for trial, made a total of one hundred seventy long distance telephone calls, and attended thirty-one different meetings and conferences on behalf of the Federation and Bethlen Home. Emblazoned upon the seal of the Federation is the inscription, “If God is with us, who is against us”. In the years I have had the pleasure of serving the Federation, I can truly say that God has been with us and that, therefore, no one has succeeded against us. From a legal and economic viewpoint, the Federation has flourished and I am certain will continue to flourish successfully so long as those entrusted with its future welfare continue to work in the same spirit as those heretofore and so long as the spirit of cooperation prevails. To paraphrase a famous quotation of our late President of the United States . . . Ask not what can the Federation do for me, but rather ask, What can I do for the Federation? May I express my thanks and sincere appreciation to all of the officers of the Federation, to the Supreme Council, to the field workers and to all those with whom I have had the pleasure to come in contact for their courtesies in furnishing me with whatever help and information was required to promote and to successfully accomplish my task, and for their prompt cooperation and willingness to be of help. I also wish to acknowledge the close cooperation and the pleasant relationship I enjoyed with other advisory members of the Federation, who have at all times been very helpful in their assistance to me. Such teamwork can bring about only good results which are reflected in the various reports concerning the past of the Federation. May God continue to guide us in our efforts to be charitable to those who need our assistance and to those who seek a warm heart. Respectfully submitted, ALBERT A. FIOK, Legal Counsellor
