4 FRATERNITY SPRING MEETING OF THE SUPREME COUNCIL TO BE HELD MARCH 16 THROUGH MARCH 20, 1964 in the conference room of our new Home Office Building. Personal invitations to all concerned will be sent out in ample time. OUR 1964 CONVENTION The new year has also brought us to the end of another quadrennial period in the life of our Federation, marking the year 1964 as the year of our TWENTY-SEVENTH CONVENTION. In accordance with the pertinent By-Laws, the Secretary has already sent out the official notices, information and instructions to all branches. By the time this issue of “Fraternity” reaches our membership, branch meetings in both the individually eligible and group branches shall have been called and held according to the provisions set down in the By-Laws . . . for the purpose of electing delegates and alternates to our Convention. However, this issue will still arrive in ample time for us to reach our branch managers and officers with this request: Please send — NOT LATER THAN FEBRUARY 20, 1964 — you certification (excerpt of the minutes) of your branch meetings, including the names and addresses of delegates and alternates who received the majority of votes at the meetings. Should there have been any proposals or recommendations made at the meetings, please forward these to the Secretary also — preferably typwritten on the form sent to you for this purpose. THE TWENTY-SEVENTH CONVENTION OF THE HUNGARIAN REFORMED FEDERATION OF AMERICA WILL BE HELD IN WASHINGTON, D. C. BEGINNING JUNE 1, 1964 — AT 10 A. M. IN THE MARRIOT KEY BRIDGE MOTOR HOTEL, VIRGINIA The day before the Convention, on Sunday, May 31, at 11 A. M., there will be memorial services held in the Arlington National Cemetery honoring the American-Hungarian heroes of the Civil War. At the same time a wreath will be placed on the Tomb of the Unknowns. Following this, in the afternoon at 3 P. M., the dedication services of our new Home Office will be held, after which there will be an open house for Convention delegates and guests . . . followed by a tour of our new Kossuth House. Details of the above events will be published more fully and properly through personal invitations and the press. In closing, may I convey my congratulations to all those of our co-workers in the field, who, through their faithful services and interest, met their required quotas and did their best in production and conservation. My sincere thanks go to all our field workers, supervisors, and district, section and branch managers, who, through their cooperation and perseverance, helped carry the common load of organizational and promotional work. Continued mutual trust, good-will and the combined effort of all concerned will bring success, progress and growth to our Federation. Let us all put these attributes to work!
