Volume XLI JANUARY 1963 Number 1 THOUGHTS FOR THE NEW YEAR Executive officers, supervisors, office and field workers, employees and employers — rich and poor — it is always good for all of us to ask ourselves at a noteworthy turning point in our lives, but at least at the Turn of the Year, as God has led us from the Old to the New: Don’t we ponder unduly over our responsibilities and reflect too little on our duty? Never should we approach our fields of endeavor, planned or unplanned events arising in our daily work, except through the portal of this question: What do I want to do with my life? By the same token no human life or soul can be such a plain and simple instrument with which God could not accomplish great works when man has placed himself completely into His creative hands. This, too, is our duty during the coming year. Let’s examine our sphere of work and life ... Is it not true that
