IV. OTHER SERVICES

I am Chairman of the Federation’s Retirement Fund which has 16 contributing members and 4 retired employees as of December 31, 1962.

The Controller’s Office performed the following functions during the past year:

a) Maintained the mailing list for the official paper;

b) Prepared the payroll and took care of the computation and reporting of the payroll and pertinent taxes;

c) Prepared monthly statements of income, disbursements and assets publishehd in the “Fraternity”;

d) Together with the Supreme Officers and our Business Counsellor prepared the budget for 1963;

e) As guardian of the safe deposit boxes I accompanied the Treasurer to the bank vault 33 times.

As ex-officio Controller of the Bethlen Home, I attended 7 meetings of the Home, examining books and participating in the discussions of the Board of Directors.

For the fourth consecutive year I am serving as Treasurer of the American Hungarian Federation.
