8 FRATERNITY MESSAGE Dearest friend, so warm, so true, How we yearn to comfort you! Whatever sorrow you now hear, Take it to our Lord in prayer! Most kind brother, you were horn To live in love •— be not forlorn! Whatever your anguish, any pain Will serve to bring you joy again! Wherever you are, God is! Remember always, you are His! In your pain hurt not the eyes Of your most-loved Father in the skies! EMŐKE PETRY HUNGARIAN COURSE IN CLEVELAND, OHIO The Western Reserve University of Cleveland, Ohio, is happy to announce a new course of interest to all Hungarian-American organizations and individuals. We are, therefore, notifying all organizations (churches, societies, cultural groups) with the request that you make this information known to all those individuals who you think would be interested. This course, CULTURAL HISTORY OF THE HUNGARIAN PEOPLE, was planned by a group of Hungarian-American cultural and educational leaders under the guidance of the University for the purpose of filling in part a vacuum in the cultural background of an increasing number of Hungarian-Americans. The instructor, Dr. Ferenc Somogyi, was formerly a professor of the history of Hungarian law at the Hungarian Royal “Erzsébet” University, and has doctoral degrees in Hungarian jurisprudence and political sciences. This course will be conducted at a university level in pure Hungarian language, avoiding as far as possible the intermingling of foreign terms, and will thus provide a rare opportunity for Hungarian- Americans to strengthen their cultural background through a deeper understanding of their heritage and traditions. We are, therefore, asking for the support of all Hungarian-American organizations in the area of northeast Ohio to help make this opportunity known and available to those of their members who would derive most benefit from this educational experience.
