The result of the voting by a secret ballot was as follows: Imre Király ............................... 40 Stephen Sziártó ........................ 4 Paul St. Miklóssy .................... 50 Mr. St. Miklóssy expressed his thanks for the confidence placed in him and complimented Mr. Király on his fine attitude during the campaign. After the words of Mr. Király, the chair entertained a motion to express the Convention’s appreciation to Mr. Király for his many years of faithful and outstanding service. The Rev. Emil Nagy spoke in English, the Rev. Matthias Daróczy in Hungarian. The Convention then gave Mr. Király a standing ovation. Frank Jantek moved to elect Mr. Király an honorary director to have a seat on the Supreme Council with all rights and privileges. The Convention so voted unanimously. Ernest Kovács (Br. 32) moved that Mr. Király be presented with a gift of $5,000 as a token of the Federation’s gratitude. The Convention so voted unanimously. Mr. Király thanked for this spontaneous expression of affection on the part of the Convention and promised to serve in his new capacity with all his ability. 90. The Rt. Rev. Zoltán Béky, the Rt. Rev. Stephen Szabó and Mr. Géza Veszprémy were presented by the Nominating Committee as candidates for the three posts of vice presidency. After the Convention voted to elect the vice presidents by acclamation, The Rt. Rev. Zoltán Béky, the Rt. Rev. Stephen Szabó and Mr. Géza Veszprémy were elected vice presidents by acclamation. 91.
