FRATERNITY 3 OUR COUNSELLOR SEEKS JUDICIAL OFFICE We are indeed pleased to announce to our membership that our respected legal counsellor, Albert A. Fiok, Esq., is an endorsed candidate for the office of Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He is running on both Democratic and Republican ballot. Among our members generally and among the people of Pittsburgh and vicinity, he needs little introduction, for his legal accomplishments and activities in church and fraternal affairs in both Hungarian and English circles are well known. His father was a well known and esteemed vice president of our Federation for many years, and his son has followed in his footsteps of showing adherence and affection for everything Hungarian. Albert A. Fiok is, therefore, our own. In Allegheny County, Pa., this is the first occasion that a truly capable member of our nationality background has received the distinction of endorsement for judicial office. We need worthy representatives in public office, and it is important that our membership and the Hungarians of the Allegheny County area give him unstinted support. We sincerely hope he will receive the unanimous backing of our people and that they will also seek for his support friends from other nationality groups as well as the general public. The primary election will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 1961. Make sure you and your friends vote that day to insure victory for Albert A. Fiok. In the history of Allegheny County, it is about time that one of our own be recognized in public office. His educational background, experience in both legal and civic matters, and his even, judicial temper well suit him for this office. KRÓNIKÁS
