FRATERNITY 21 the Rev. Tibor Tóth was elected by acclamation, with Mr. Michael Biró to be his alternate. 97. The elected officers and directors, namely: George E. K. Borshy, President Joseph Kecskeméthy, Secretary László Eszenyi, Comptroller Paul St. Miklóssy, Treasurer Dr. Zoltán Béky, Dr. Stephen Szabó, Géza Veszprémy, Vice Presidents Stephen Syposs, Joseph Molnár, Bertram Szathmáry, Louis Nagy William Sziieh, Zsigmond Palágyi, Matthias Daróczy, Árpád György, Tibor Tóth, Directors Imre Király, Honorary Director after having declared that they would accept their respective offices, were duly sworn in by Temporary Chairiman Rev. Árpád Beretz at 11:45 P. M. 98. Prayer of Installation was offered by the Rev. Alexander Daróczy. 99. After thanking the tellers for their services, Temporary Chairiman Rev. Árpád Beretz turned over the gavel to President George E. K. Borshy. 100. The President announced that he received a letter from Mr. Béla Báchkai, secretary of the American Hungarian Federation, informing about the erection of a monument on the new Pulaski Highway, commemorating Capt. Smith and his two Hungarian companions of the Jamestown settlement, Görgényi and Magyar János. 101. The President thanked the Convention for the trust placed in him and promised to dedicate himself to the service of the Federation with enthusiasm and to the best of his abilities. He especially thanked the Convention for not considering the matter of changing the name of the Federation. This Federation has been founded to serve the cause of the American Hungarian Reformed people; for this cause he will work and fight with all his power. 102. Rev. Alexander Daróczy, Superintendent of the Bethlen Home, thanked the Convention for its good will towards the Bethlen Home. He asked the delegates for their individual donations towards the Home. 103. It was moved that the Convention thank the two recording secretaries and the representatives of the Hungarian press for their faithful and good services. The Convention unanimously so voted. T
