FRATERNITY 3 MINUTES OF THE TWENTY= SIXTH CONVENTION of the HUNGARIAN REFORMED FEDERATION OF AMERICA Held in the Bethlen Home, Ligonier, Penna. Beginning Monday, June 13, 1960 FIRST DAY Monday, June 13, 1960 I. COMMUNION SERVICE The Convention was preceded by a Communion Service held in the chapel on the hill at 10 A. M. Participating ministers were the Rev. Bertram Szathmáry (Apostolic Greeting), Rev. Árpád György (Invocation and Scripture, Romans 8:12-31), Prayer and Meditation on Matthew 17: 14-21 by the Rt. Rev. George E. K. Borshy. Communion Liturgy was led by the Rev. Joseph Kecskeméthy, the holy elements were distributed by the Rt. Rev. Zoltán Béky and the Rt. Rev. Stephen Szabó. The Closing Prayer was offered by the Very Rev. Louis Nagy, and the Benediction was pronounced by the Rt. Rev. Borshy. II. PLENARY SESSION The first plenary business session of the Convention was opened by President Borshy at 12 o’clock noon in Fraternity Hall. 1. The anthems, “My Country ’Tis of Thee” and “Isten Áldd Meg a Magyart”, were sung. 2. The docket of the Convention as prepared and presented by the Secretary (Exhibit “A”) was adopted. 3. The Convention received greetings and remarks made by the following fraternal delegates and guests: Mr. Stephen Szegedy from the American Life Insurance Association (Bridgeport Federation); Mr. Paul Nadanyi from the Hungarian Desk of the “Voice of America” program; Mr. Arthur Dobozy from the Co-ordinated Hungarian Relief; The Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephen Szabó, President of the Magyar Synod; The Rt. Rev. Dr. Zoltán Béky, Bishop of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America;
