OTHER SERVICES The Auditor’s office prepared monthly reports and the mailing lists for the official organ. I wrote articles in English as well as in Hungarian for the “Fraternity” whenever the President called on me. I am the National Treasurer of the American Hungarian Federation and I serve on the Board of the Co-ordinated Hungarian Relief, Inc. ★ ★ ★ I hereby express my sincere appreciation to the employees in my office for their efficient and praiseworthy services. I am grateful to our field-workers for their excellent support throughout the year and to the members of the Supreme Council for the fine cooperation I always received. ESZENYI, Auditor CONVENTION NEWS OF THE HUNGARIAN REFORMED FEDERATION OF AMERICA The year’s most outstanding American-Hungarian event took place in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, from June 13 to 16, when the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America held its Quadrennial National Convention. The most important action taken by the Convention, along with the revision of the by-laws, was the election of the Supreme Officers and Members of the Supreme Council. The Convention elected the following: Re-elected unanimously with great ovation were the President, the Rt. Reverend George E. K. Borshy; Secretary, the Reverend Joseph Kecskemethy, and Controller, Mr. László Eszenyi. Mr. Paul St. Miklossy was elected as Treasurer. Mr. Emery Király, the retiring officer, one of the most highly respected public figures in the American-Hungarian scene, who served the Federation faithfully for decades with great devotion, was warmly acclaimed by the Convention and unanimously elected as a life-time honorary member of the Supreme Council with full participating rights.
