FRATERNITY 9 REFUSE THE ACCREDITATION OF THE MURDEROUS AND ILLEGAL PUPPET REGIME OF HUNGARY WHEREAS, The feelings of the entire civilized world were outraged at the news that the communist system had ordered the execution of the four Hungarian freedom fighters, Imre Nagy, Pal Maleter, Miklós Gimes and József Szilagyi, after solemn promises and guarantees that their lives would not be taken; and WHEREAS, The naked hand of the gangsters in the Kremlin was evident in the cold blooded murder of these four patriots by the announcement of their executions being made by Moscow and not by the puppet regime in Hungary, and the communist system thereby served notice on all who cherish freedom that they do so at the risk of their lives; and WHEREAS, The domination or subjugation of that part of the world which is still free is the professed ultimate objective of communism; but WHEREAS, World opinion still seems to be of some small consequence to the Politburo in the Kremlin; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOTHWELL KANE POST No. 21, THE AMERICAN LEGION, OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, That we join the freedom loving peoples of the world in denouncing as barbaric, inhuman, murderous and as a travesty on justice the execution of these freedom fighters; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That we petition, by this resolution, our State Department and John Foster Dulles, the Secretary of State, to instruct the U. S. A. delegation to the United Nations to continue to refuse the accreditation to the United Nations of the delegates of the murderous and illegal puppet regime of Hungary; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That we, as individuals, and as a unit of a freedom loving organization, do all in our power never to let the communist regimes forget the odium of bloody guilt which attaches to their killings. i
