Feke, pastor of the Warren Point (New Jersey) Presbyterian Church for the past five years, resigned from the pastorate to become Director of the Office of Budget for the National Council of Churches. In his new post, which he assumed on March 1, Mr. Feke will carry primary responsibility for the National Council’s $18,000,000 annual budget. In December of 1956 Mr. Feke was selected to serve as a Protestant chaplain for the first ship coming to this country with refugees who left Hungary during the revolt against the government. The Protestant phase of the refugee work was under the direction of Church World Service, a department of the National Council.
